Art, Intention & Inner Space: Meet the Women Behind Our New Collection

At yogat, we believe yoga isn’t just movement—it’s a return to self. It’s the slow unfurling of breath, the quiet strength found in stillness, and the creative pulse that flows through everything we do. Every mat, towel, and surface we create is more than functional, it’s a canvas of intention, crafted to support your wellbeing journey with beauty, depth, and soul.

Rooted in sustainability and storytelling, we recently invited Australian female artists to share their vision with us through an open Expression of Interest. The response was powerful and the result is a trio of works that are as moving as they are meaningful.

Created by Erin Reinboth, Pavla Spencer, and Alex Mason, their art now graces our limited-edition yoga mats, reformer Pilates mats, and towels—bringing emotion, energy, and artistry into your everyday rituals.

Let us introduce you to the women and the works that are transforming wellness tools into artful acts of self-care.

Finding Yourself in Colour & Form

When Pavla Spencer painted Becoming You, she was guided by the words of Paulo Coelho: “Start doing what you want to do, and everything else will be revealed to you.” This piece feels like a bold exhale, a visual reminder to trust your own becoming. It's vibrant, honest, and full of movement, capturing the creative courage it takes to listen inward and let your path unfold.

Her second piece, Calm in Chaos, explores another side of that journey. A woman sits grounded beneath a palm tree, an island sanctuary around her—a quiet breath in the middle of life’s noise. It holds space for duality: the mess and the stillness, the edge and the ease. It invites you to soften, root down, and remember that peace lives within.

Alex Mason’s contribution, Good Luck Babe!, blends boldness and play with painterly texture. Her joyful, dimensional style speaks to confidence and care, the perfect companion for practices that balance strength and softness. Alex’s art, rooted in emotion and healing, brings a cheeky kind of empowerment to the everyday. Her work also features on our first-ever round meditation mat, designed to create a beautifully grounded space for stillness and breath.

Erin Reinboth brings an intuitive, abstract energy to her piece Over the Fence. With sun-washed hues and layered textures, the work feels like a nostalgic afternoon, free, grounded, and quietly joyful. Erin draws deeply from the natural world, letting colour and movement lead her. Her work on this mat is a reflection of openness: the beauty just beyond the boundary, if you’re willing to look.

When You Practice on a Story

Each of these pieces transforms your mat into something more than a surface, they create a sensory experience that brings your attention back to what matters. Every time you unroll your mat, you're stepping onto a work of art shaped by resilience, softness, and the courage to create. You're practicing with intention.

And behind it all, yogat’s commitment remains clear: to honour the earth, support local artists, and create objects that enrich your daily rituals. Our yoga mats are non-toxic, biodegradable, and made for those who move with purpose.
