Yoga and Pilates are a wonderful way to promote physical and mental health, but what happens to your workout mat once you're done using it?

At yogat, we use tree rubber to create our range of eco-friendly, biodegradable yoga and Pilates mats.  This means, customers can avoid adding to landfill when it's time for a new mat.

We recommend, TerraCycle - a program dedicated to finding solutions for typically hard-to-recycle waste streams.

Another great way to reduce waste and give your workout mat a second life, is upcycling. Upcycling your mat is a creative way to extend its life and give it a new purpose. And because our mats feature Australian art and are machine washable (germ free!), they really are perfect for upcycling!
