How to Break In Your Yoga or Pilates Mat

To break in your mat and get the grip you need for those challenging poses, use it as much as possible. Your body heat and sweat will naturally help the coating settle, giving you better stability with each session.

Breaking in your mat can take up to two months. If you’re looking for quicker results, we recommend lightly misting your mat with water from a spray bottle before you start your practice.
